So I decided that I was going to paint my car with plasti-dip until I could afford a decent paint job, being that paint is fairly low on my car priorities list.
Doing this will allow me to still practice painting prep work, which I was planning on doing regardless, and still get me a removable, good looking paint job. Because plasti-dip is only matte colors, I decided on black. I tested the painting on my hood with a gallon I got from a guy on craigslist, and I love the way it looks.
Here it is when it was still wet, before it turns matte. I will post pictures later of the finished, dry product.
I plan on painting one panel at a time as I finish them (body work, trim removal, etc.).
